ABOUT ME

I grew up in Litchfield, Connecticut where I enjoyed being outside playing baseball, hiking and camping. I attended Franklin and Marshall College in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, where dedicated professors inspired me to major in mathematics and minor in philosophy. I combined my love for nature and passion for applied mathematics while studying at the University of Tennessee by focusing my dissertation on ecological modeling. In addition to mathematics, my hobbies include hiking, camping, pick up sports and spending time with my family.
